PRESENTATION TYPES

Oral presentation – concurrent session
Each oral presentation will be allocated 20 minutes in length which will include questions (i.e. 15mins presentation and 5 minutes questions). Presentations may have more than one speaker.
In addition to the 20-minute presentation time, there will also be 10 minutes at the end of each session for a panel discussion with all speakers in the session.

Oral presentation – YEP Symposium
Young and emerging professionals (YEP) are the future of our industry. We invite those with an interesting case study, research project or innovative new idea for the industry to submit an abstract and indicate their interest in being part of this session. Symposium presentations are 7 minutes, with 3 minutes for questions (10 minutes total). Presentations can include case studies, research projects or innovative ideas.

Tech talks and case studies
These sessions will offer our sponsors and exhibitors the chance to showcase their products and new developments in spatial and survey technologies. We invite submissions from all sectors to present case studies of how new technology is being applied by the industry to solve problems and drive innovation. Case study presentation spots will be a maximum of 10 minutes plus questions. In your abstract submission, please include:
• Technology or product used in the project
• Sector (e.g., environment, transport, agriculture, hydrographic)

Tech Talk submissions will be available to sponsoring companies only. These will be run in the Exhibition Theatrette and provide you with a great opportunity to showcase your products, new technology and recent developments. Please note, you will still be required to submit a tech talk proposal within a specified timeframe and is subject to approval by the program committee.
